An Australian Icon; the Laughing Kookaburra became one of my regular photography subjects. Hardly a week went by without me capturing a myriad of wonderful photographs of this Australian Native bird. This particular Kookaburra was photographed on the Urambi Hills. There was a regular spot where this Kookaburra could be found standing guard near to the entrance of the nest where its mate was in residence.
